Just a few days ago, I got permission from Julia via her very good friend John to write about her on my blog.
For those who aren’t acquainted with Julia, she’s a Korean American adoptee who has been fighting a very strong form of leukemia for two? three? years now. I slept almost all day yesterday so didn’t get the chance to write about Julia then, when the last news that I had heard from John wasn’t good, that she had recently experienced a few very dicey situations.
Sadly, as of today, her situation is even worse. It’s very very bad.
So many of you have prayed for me. If you don’t pray, then good thoughts or whatever you do. It helps. I’m convinced that it helps, and I thank you for those thoughts and prayers.
Now I’m asking you to please now pray (or send good thoughts, etc.) for Julia.
Oh, Julia. Since a few weeks ago, when the wonderful Margie made Thursdays J-Day for both Julia and I, I have felt a special kinship, a sisterhood with her. I’ve always been impressed by Julia and loved her writing and have rooted for her from afar, but the shared J-Day just kind of cemented the sisterhood aspect.
Now I’m very scared for her.
So please, as John asks, pray for Julia and all of those, like John, who love her.
Just pray.
