Yes, I’ve signed up for NaBloPoMo. This is my month to write a post every day, without fail and without cheating (i.e. backposting posts) and posting even on weekends. Previously I’ve posted every day or almost every day so I think I’m up for this challenge. I just hope I can post more than “I’m tired,” or more likely “I’m tired and I’m really really cranky.”
Today, for example. You know the day isn’t starting out all too auspiciously when you tell one of your co-workers, “I need a large rope.” “Who are you going to hang?,” she asks. Oh yes, these women know me all too well. Have I ever mentioned that I have a verbally violent side? What does that mean? Well, it means that I speak kind of violently — I vent about things in such a way.

Sidebar: at our last session, my lovely therapist thought it might be a good idea for me to take up something like kickboxing or something “very physical” like that because I hold a lot of frustration and anxiety inside. I don’t know why she said that. I was just getting very enthused that my brother’s house includes a shooting range in the basement and saying how that’s my favorite part of the house. What?
OK, and I was also talking about smacking people. WHAT? These are people who deserve to be smacked.

Anyways, I wasn’t going to hang anyone, you sillies. Naaaaahhhh. I was just going to put that around someone’s neck and pull it just a wee bit. Garsh!! There’s a world of difference there. Come on now!! Besides, she’s the one that everyone wants to at least bitch-slap most of the time!
So, OK, where was I? Oh, yeah, I was choking and bitch-slapping people. Yanno, just your typical day in the friendly library. Heh. It’s a different library than you knew, isn’t it? That’s me. Shattering stereotypes of librarians everywhere I go. With a very large sledgehammer.
