~ a lover of contemporary folk music (Lucy Kaplansky, Richard Shindell, Dar Williams, The Wailin’ Jennys, for example), Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Amy Grant, Shawn Colvin, The Dixie Chicks, Coldplay, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Seal, Joni Mitchell, Nickel Creek, David Gray, and The B-52s, among others.
