Love Thursday: Lean On Him

Love is mutual adoration. Love is hearing “uppies,” and more often than not, picking up your son even though he’s getting heavier all the time (at least it seems like it). Love is leaning into your Daddy because you know he’ll always be there for you. Love is heads touching. Love is Daddy and Nate, always.

Happy Love Thursday, everyone.

That is so true. Happy Love Thursday!!

You’ll have to explain what “uppies” are, they sound so cute and uplifting! My heart melted when I heard that Nate’s daddy still likes picking him up! All kids need cuddles, no matter how old they are :)

Oh, Bonggamom, it’s a holdover from toddler-talk — Nate just says “uppies” when he wants to be picked up, and Daddy obliges. Nate is 5 now and gained 8 lbs last year, so he’s definitely a growing boy!! :)

This mama has a bad back so shouldn’t do “uppies,” but sometimes just can’t help it. I’ll cuddle on the couch and bed or wherever else I can get them in when I can though, because I know the day will come when he’ll just say “Awww, Moo-oom!!” ;)

Happy Love Thursday to you and Tabitha!!

happy love thursday, mom2one, and thanks for your comment on my blog. :) that photo is beautiful.

Wonderful! They make the perfect pair.

Happy LT. Thanks so much for stopping by. See you next week?

What a great photo!

Thanks Ann-Marie, Ann, and Margie. Yep, Ann, see ya next week! I look forward to Love Thursday each week! :D

Thanks for the clarification! My daughter is 5 too, and I tell you, it breaks our back when she gets the “uppies” or when she falls asleep in the car and we have to carry her to bed!
